Who In the World Is....
C h e r y l T y s s e l i n g was born in Holbrook, AZ and grew up in Joseph City, AZ. She has 4 brothers, 2 sisters and falls in line as the 3rd oldest. Cheryl has 3 children: Rachel, JT lives in CA and Kimmy lives in NM. Cheryl is very well traveled and has lived in many different places including Alpine, AZ; Albany and Queens, NY; Battle Mountain, NV; Moreno Valley, CA; Savanna , GA and Palestine, TX to name a few. She says Savanna Georgia was her favorite place to live because she loved being a part of the old, historic south. Not to mention they make great candy! Her favorite color is blue and she loves Mexican food. Some of her favorite things to do are boating, walking, hiking, sewing (she adds she is trying to do more), volleyball, basketball & motorcycle riding. When asked one of her most embarrassing moments, Cheryl says: “Not having my legs shaved when I broke my neck.” We understand completely! Something no one knows about her is that she is planning 2 weddings and both are happening within 3 months of each other. Her favorite movie is “One Crazy Summer”. Cheryl and her husband met at NMSU in Las Cruces, NM during his investigation into the church. Cheryl has lived in Round Valley since May 2009. Some of the church callings Cheryl has held are Relief Society President, Counselor in YW, Primary President and nursery. She says nursery is her favorite because she loves kids. Her favorite latter-day prophet is President Hinckley. We are so happy to have you in our ward!!
